What a salsa instructor costs for a party in Las Vegas

Group salsa class practicing partner work in pairs, real footage from our Salsa Dance LA family

Short answer: in Las Vegas, a salsa or bachata instructor for a party runs $600 for up to 15 guests (then $30 a guest), a bachelorette class is $550 for up to 12 (then $35 a guest), and a corporate team session is $85 a guest with a $695 minimum for teams under 20. Those are our published prices at Salsa Dance Vegas, and they include the instructor, the music, and the drive to your suite, home or venue anywhere in Las Vegas, Henderson or Summerlin. Private party dance entertainment in Las Vegas is the page if you just want to book it; the rest of this post is how the pricing works so you don't overpay or under-book.

First, what you are actually hiring

People search "private dancer for hire" in Vegas and get two very different things. One is adult entertainment. The other is a dance instructor who shows up with a speaker and gets 15 people doing a salsa basic in ten minutes. This post is about the second one. If you want your guests dancing with each other, you want an instructor, not a performer, and the price is built around how many people have to be taught at once.

A couple of things the table doesn't show. Multi-hour formats and add-ons like a surprise choreography or a performance demo get quoted with the booking request, and we confirm within 48 hours. Every lesson is taught by Avissh or an instructor he personally trained, and Avissh writes the lesson plan for every booking.

Why the price is per group, not per hour

An hourly rate sounds lower until you do the math. A good instructor can teach 12 beginners a salsa basic, a cross-body lead and a turn in about 50 minutes. A bad one needs two hours and the room gives up. Pricing per group with a guest cap means you know the number before you book and we don't have a reason to drag it out. The per-guest add-on exists because past 15 people the room needs a second set of eyes on the floor.

What makes the price go up

Three things, and only three. More guests than the cap. More time than the format (a two-hour wedding-party rehearsal is a different job than a 60-minute birthday). And a second instructor, which we add when a corporate room passes 20 or when a court has a lot of chambelanes who have never danced. Travel inside Las Vegas, Henderson and Summerlin is already in the price. We don't charge for the music, the speaker, or the planning call.

What makes it go down

Weeknight afternoons. Hotel suites with a cleared floor (we spend less time moving furniture). A group that already knows which dance it wants. If you're flexible on the day, say so in the booking notes and we'll tell you if a quieter slot changes the quote.

How this compares to the other options in Vegas

A performer-style booking (a dance troupe doing a show at your event) is a different product. On the marketplaces that list Las Vegas salsa performers, acts start around $200 for a short show and go up with the number of dancers and set length, and the audience watches. An instructor-led party is the opposite: everyone dances, and the photos at the end are of your group, not the hired act. For bachelorettes, the common alternative on the Strip is a pole or chair class at roughly $49 a head, which for 12 people is about the same money as a private salsa class that comes to your suite.

What to send us so the quote is right the first time

The date and a two-hour window, the headcount (a range is fine), where it's happening (hotel name or neighborhood is enough), and whether anyone in the group already dances. For a quince court, the two songs and the number of chambelanes. That's it. We reply within 48 hours with a yes and a time, or a question.

FAQ

Is there a minimum group size? Private parties and bachelorettes have no minimum; the price covers up to 15 or 12 guests, so a smaller group just pays the base. Corporate sessions start at 8 guests.

Do you charge for travel? Not inside Las Vegas, Henderson or Summerlin. Outside that, we quote it.

Can we pay a deposit? Bachelorette dates can be held with a $200 deposit on the booking page; the balance is due 7 days before. Other formats are confirmed by request first, then paid by a private link.

What's the cancellation policy? Cancel more than 72 hours out for a full refund. Inside 72 hours you get a full credit toward any date in the next 12 months, or a 50 percent refund.
