It started in Los Angeles

Salsa Dance LA grew up inside one of the most demanding Latin dance scenes in the country. Los Angeles is where LA-style salsa was born — fast, linear, unforgiving of sloppy technique — and teaching there means meeting a standard most cities never see. Hundreds of students, group events, weddings, and sold-out socials later, the studio became something rarer than a dance school: a community, and a proudly LGBTQ+ inclusive one, where lead and follow are choices rather than assignments.

Napa taught us to travel

When our family expanded to Napa Valley, wine country taught us a lesson that reshaped the whole business: the best experiences come to you. Napa's visitors didn't want to drive to a studio between tastings — they wanted the instructor at their villa, their event barn, their wedding venue. So we rebuilt the model around delivery: premium, concierge, at-your-door instruction. It worked better than the studio model ever did.

Vegas is the obvious next floor

Las Vegas hosts 76,779 weddings a year, more than any city in America, plus roughly forty million visitors and six million convention guests — nearly all of them staying in suites and venues that make perfect dance floors. No city on earth is better built for what we do: arrive, turn a room into a party, and leave a group with a story they'll retell for years.

Every experience we run in Las Vegas — bachelorette parties, wedding first dances, corporate events, date nights, and private lessons — carries the LA technique standard and the Napa concierge model. That combination doesn't exist anywhere else in this city.

What we believe

Dance is for every body. Total beginners, seasoned dancers, every age, every couple, every configuration of humans who want to move — no assumed roles, no gatekeeping, no judgment. Our job is simple: by the time we leave, your room is dancing.
